A Girlfriends Quilt

This beautiful quilt was done by my girlfriend and some friends at her church.  I think it is very pretty and I hope the lucky people who received it appreciate it.  Way to go Brenda!!!!  I told everyone I have friends who are MUCH BETTER quilters than I am.

QUILT SHOW COMING!!!!!

The Edmond Quilt Guild will have a quilt show on August 5 & 6th, 2012 at the Hamilton Field House on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma.  Awesome quilts, wonderful, friendly quilters, lots of fun, door prizes and vendors.  Here is last year's Best of Show

This beautiful quilt is by Charlotte Hickman, a nationally known blue ribbon quilter who just happens to be a member of the Edmond Quilt Guild.  The title of the piece is 'Into the Woods' and is made of fabric and felting and completely quilted.  Mark your calendars early.

Social Networking

While out with my mother on Saturday, April 9th, we went by Quilt Works in OKC to pet fabric (something every quilter knows about) and this was hanging on the wall

The title of the quilt is 'Social Networking' and I loved it and can see it in numerous fabric possibilities.  I bought the pattern and can't wait to make it.  So for all you social networkers, here is your quilt!!!

Awsome Marine Quilt OO-RAH

My boyfrends son is a Marine and I made him this as my "Thank you & Welcome Home". Mailed it to him today. He has done 1 tour in Iraq and 2 in Afganistan. We are very blessed he has come home from there!

Ok, this is the Janome Memory Craft 11000 embroidery/sewing machine.  Yes, I love this machine and want one very badly.  Just think of the things and crafts, and quilts, and aprons and many many other things I could create with this....aaww...

Love Robert Kaufman fabric

He does some great stuff.   The Dr. Seuss stuff is great and so are many of his other creations.  I love how he brings ideas to life on fabric and they are wonderful to use and very fun to play with and make things with.       

His flowers, cupcakes  and even Maxine prints are great.  He is the one who made the military fabric I used in my son's quilt.

Beautiful Fabric

OK Kaffe is not one of the lines of fabric that I normally look at but I have to admit this fabric is absolutely gorgeous…don’t you think so??  I can see a ton of things and quilts that would make this wonderful to have.  Must Go by to pet fabric!!!
